Quality Systems & Customer Audit Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems & Customer Audit Manager to lead and manage all internal and customer audit activities, ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, customer-specific requirements, and applicable industry standards. The role is responsible for driving audit readiness, managing audit programs, leading corrective actions, and strengthening organizational compliance through continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and certification bodies to enhance quality system effectiveness and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage internal audits, customer audits, and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to quality management system requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and execute annual audit plans, coordinate audit activities, and ensure audit readiness across the organization.
• Serve as the primary liaison for customer audits, including preparation of audit documentation, coordination of audit schedules, and closure of audit findings.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions through effective root cause analysis and follow-up activities.
• Monitor audit performance, compliance metrics, and improvement initiatives to strengthen overall quality system effectiveness.
• Lead, coach, and develop the audit team while promoting a strong culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Internal Audits, Customer Audits, or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Experience managing customer audits, certification audits, and compliance programs.
• Lead Auditor certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• Semiconductor or automotive manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
