Quality Technician

Your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Conduct First Articla Inspection (FAI), Process Capability/ Process Capability Index (CP/CPK) measurements on moulded parts.

• Confirm samples submission from engineering for moulding validation.

• Identify the appropriate measurement method and create measurement work instructions.

• Train QC inspectors in measurement methodology.

• Verify tool changes and process dimensions after tool modifications / rectifications.

About the Job

Quality Department plays a very important role in Cyrus. You will be working closely with NPI Quality Engineer on testing samples and builds.

Your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Confirm samples submission from engineering for moulding validation.

• Identify the appropriate measurement method and create measurement work instructions.

• Train QC inspectors in measurement methodology.

• Verify tool changes and process dimensions after tool modifications / rectifications.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role (preferably in Plastic Injection Moulding Industry).

· Experience in using QC inspection tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Smart Scope etc

· Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge and skills

· Good work attitude & interpersonal communication skills

· Self-motivated with a good learning

· Able to work independently and in teams.

· Able to interpret mechanical drawings and basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

· Detail oriented for data accuracy.
