Quality Technician

Kecy Metal Technologies is currently looking for candidates for a 1st Shift Quality Technician. 1st shift hours are M-Th 5am to 3:30pm. This position may require overtime.

QUALITY TECHNICIAN:

Ensures that materials and products meet quality checks before going on the market is the function of a Quality Technician. Assess the condition of the products, from its raw material stage to being a completed product; ensuring that it is not damaged or have any defects.

JOB DUTIES:

• Weld Destruct Testing
• Production 1st piece
• Torque, Tensile, and Push out Testing
• Assist with Capabilities Studies
• Assist with R&R
• Rec and Final Inspection
• Nonconforming and Suspect Material Identification and Segregation
• Calipers, OC, basic layout and CMM experience a plus.
• Assist with sorting parts
• Blueprint reading preferred
• GD&T preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

1. High school diploma/GED

2. Basic computer skills

3. Basic knowledge of calipers and operation instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
