Quality Technician

Based in Hamilton, Dairy Goat Co-operative is a manufacturer, developer, and exporter of premium, niche, consumer-packaged nutritional powders. It is one of the region's leading exporters, serving international markets via its marketing partners and joint venture relationships. The markets are located primarily in Asia and Europe.

At DGC, we manufacture exceptionally high-quality and well-regarded infant formulas, feeding babies and supporting families all over the world.

About the Role:

The role is varied and physical - you will be ‘out and about’ most days, subsampling our products or swabbing for pathogens in our Drying, Blending or Canning manufacturing facilities; verifying files and records; retrieving samples from our warehouses; performing sensory testing on a variety of products; cleaning your work areas and doing labware dishes; sending testing samples to the laboratory or, occasionally driving a forklift to move retention bins. This is a hands-on manufacturing support role rather than a laboratory-based position.

You will learn a lot about the business, working within this small team of 7.
