Quality Technician

Brief Description The Quality Technician conducts routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished product using all available testing devices and procedures to maintain product quality. The Quality Technician is a mentor for Quality personnel to ensure proper and accurate usage of laboratory equipment.

• Responsible for administration of Machining PPAP process
• Provide problem solving support in the machining department
• Coordinate audit findings of machined parts, machining equipment, and machining processes
• Document audit findings and follow up on corrective actions
• Maintain Quality Hold Area 6S and daily reporting
• Capable of using all equipment in the Quality lab.
• Capable of CMM programming of select parts.
• Collects and records results of sampling to and testing to maintain record of product quality
• Inspects products, components and materials at sites as assigned by Quality supervision.
• Leads projects in measurement and analysis of product quality characteristics and defects
• Provides summary analysis of test failures and failure modes

Requirements Associates degree (AS, AA, AAS); or minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
