Quality Technician I

Overview: As a Quality Technician I, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. You will play a vital role in conducting quality inspections, performing tests, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspections (With Supervision):

• • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Functional testing of handheld extinguishers to UL requirements.

• Documentation and Reporting (With Supervision):

• • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results, test data, and quality documentation.
  • Communicate quality issues and discrepancies to appropriate quality leadership team.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a quality assurance or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements and quality assurance principles preferred.

• Proficiency in conducting quality inspections preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Self-starter with experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic computer skills.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
