Quantitative Aptitude Trainer

TIME Surat is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and dynamic Quantitative Aptitude Faculty / Trainer to train students preparing for CAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT and other management entrance examinations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong mathematical and analytical abilities, excellent conceptual understanding and the ability to explain complex quantitative concepts in a simple, logical and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

1. Classroom Teaching

• Conduct engaging and effective classroom sessions in Quantitative Aptitude for CAT and other MBA entrance examinations.
• Teach topics including Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Number Systems, Modern Mathematics and related areas.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding, logical thinking, problem-solving abilities and speed.
• Teach effective shortcuts, alternative approaches and time-management techniques for competitive examinations.

2. Student Preparation & Performance

• Prepare students for quantitative aptitude sections of various management entrance examinations.
• Conduct practice sessions, doubt-solving sessions and revision classes.
• Analyze student performance in tests and mock examinations.
• Identify students' weak areas and help them improve through targeted practice and guidance.
• Guide students on examination strategies, question selection, accuracy and time management.

3. Academic Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver well-structured lectures according to the academic schedule.
• Solve and explain questions from study material, assignments, sectional tests and mock examinations.
• Stay updated with changing examination patterns, difficulty levels and question trends.
• Coordinate with the academic team to ensure effective course delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Science or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong command over Quantitative Aptitude and mathematical fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to solve CAT-level quantitative aptitude questions accurately and efficiently.
• Strong communication, presentation and classroom management skills.
• Ability to simplify difficult concepts for students with different academic backgrounds.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi; Gujarati communication skills would be an advantage.
• Previous experience teaching Quantitative Aptitude for CAT or other competitive examinations is preferred.
• Freshers with exceptional quantitative aptitude and teaching potential are encouraged to apply.

• Experienced aptitude trainers or faculty members from coaching institutes.
• Individuals who genuinely enjoy teaching, mathematics and interacting with students.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates may be required to appear for:

• A Quantitative Aptitude assessment.
• A classroom teaching demonstration.
• A personal interview.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
