Quantitative Trader

• Strategy Exploration & Testing: Formulate, backtest, and refine technical or systematic trading strategies across stock and derivatives markets.
• Live Execution & Monitoring: Execute approved strategies while maintaining strict adherence to risk management controls and maximum draw-down limits.
• Performance Optimization: Track win/loss ratios, risk-reward metrics, and strategy decay; conduct regular post-market recaps to optimize execution parameters.
• Collaborative Development: Work directly with management to evaluate market conditions, test new trading ideas, and refine position-sizing models.
• Risk Management: Monitor active portfolio positions, exposure limits, and position sizing protocols in real time.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent practical trading experience.
• Proven experience in designing, backtesting, or executing technical trading strategies (equities, futures, or FX).
• Strong understanding of technical indicators, price action mechanics, and order book dynamics.
• High degree of risk discipline, emotional control, and mathematical aptitude under market volatility.
• Familiarity with charting platforms and strategy backtesting tools (e.g., ChartNexus, MetaTrader, TradingView, or Python/R).
• Strong communication skills with an eager mindset to test, iterate, and refine strategies collaboratively.
