Quantity Serveyor Executive

About the role

This role involves preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, quotations and tender documents, as well as managing tendering, costing and procurement activities. You will prepare and evaluate variation orders, progress claims and final accounts, monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance, and liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers. The role includes conducting site measurements, verifying work progress, ensuring QS documentation is properly prepared and maintained, and assisting in contract administration and other QS-related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates, BQ, quotations and tender documents
• Manage tendering, costing and procurement activities
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders (VO), progress claims and final accounts
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers
• Conduct site measurements and verify work progress
• Ensure all QS documentation is properly prepared and maintained
• Assist in contract administration and other QS-related matters

About you

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying / Construction
• Knowledge of construction contracts, costing, tendering and project claims
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Good analytical, communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Willing to travel to project sites when required
