- Quantity Estimation & BOQ Verification
Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Verify BOQ quantities for road and infrastructure works.
Calculate quantities for:
Earthwork
GSB / WMM
Bituminous works
Concrete works
Drainage works
Culverts / Bridges
Retaining structures
Utility works
Reconcile estimated quantities with actual site execution.
- Client Billing & RA Bills
- Prepare Running Account (RA) bills as per work progress.
- Coordinate with site engineers for measurement records.
- Submit bills to client/consultant within timelines.
- Track bill certification and payment status.
- Prepare escalation and variation claims wherever applicable.
- Subcontractor Billing
- Verify subcontractor measurements and bills.
- Prepare and certify subcontractor payment statements.
- Ensure billing is as per work order terms and approved quantities.
- Maintain reconciliation of subcontractor quantities.
- Cost Control & Budget Monitoring
- Monitor project cost against approved budget.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and quantity reconciliation.
- Identify wastage, excess consumption, and cost overruns.
- Assist management in cost optimization and profitability analysis.
- Contract Management
- Study contract documents, technical specifications, and tender conditions.
- Maintain records of extra items, deviations, and variation orders.
- Assist in preparation of claims and contractual correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project procedures.
- Measurement & Documentation
- Maintain measurement sheets and billing records.
- Coordinate with planning, QA/QC, and execution teams.
- Maintain DPR-related quantity records.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and client verification.
