About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Construction team at Tip Top Metal System Formwork SDN. BHD. in Selangor. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing bills of quantities, cost estimates and feasibility studies
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, preparing payment certificates, and managing contract variations
• Providing expert advice on contractual and commercial matters
• Assisting with tender preparations and bid submissions
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Preparing detailed progress and cost reports for management

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and cost management techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex projects
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Familiarity with Malaysian construction regulations and standards
