Core Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed initial cost plans, material take-offs, and complete Bills of Quantities (BoQ) from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Tendering & Procurement: Assist in preparing tender documents, inviting contractor bids, evaluating proposals, and helping select cost-effective vendors.
• Contract Administration: Draft, evaluate, and manage commercial contracts, tracking legal and financial obligations.
• Cost Control & Forecasting: Monitor ongoing spending against the baseline budget, update cash flow forecasts, and manage inflation or currency-risk contingencies.
• Valuations & Payments: Conduct site inspections to measure completed work, assess subcontractor and contractor interim payment applications, and issue payment certificates.
• Variation & Change Management: Price and negotiate the cost impact of design modifications, scope changes, or site delays.
• Dispute Resolution & Final Accounts: Help mediate commercial disputes and compile final financial accounts upon project completion.
