Quantity Surveyor (Building）

Job Responsibilities:

Contract Management: Manage the administration of main contracts and sub-contracts, ensuring strict compliance with commercial terms and project specifications.

Cost Control & Budgeting: Responsible for accurate cost estimation, cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and the preparation of final accounts for building construction projects.

Claims & Variations: Assess and process variation orders (VO), interim payments, and professionally handle contractual and subcontractors’ claims to mitigate project risks.

Procurement & Tendering: Assist in material procurement, prepare tender documents, and perform accurate quantity taking off.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and external consultants to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve site issues efficiently.

Requirements:

Education: Higher Diploma or bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related disciplines.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in building or civil projects. (Note: Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor).

Core Skills: Solid experience in taking-off, tendering, and measurement. Familiarity with standard forms of building contracts in Hong Kong.

Attributes: Responsible, detail-minded, proactive, and willing to learn. Possess strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Language: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Professional Growth: Candidates currently pursuing professional qualifications (e.g., HKIS / RICS) are highly preferred. (We offer support for professional training and licensing).
