Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with 2–5 years of UAE experience to join our team and assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in managing commercial and quantity surveying activities for construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, tendering, subcontractor/supplier comparison, variations, and payment documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in day-to-day quantity surveying and commercial activities.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and material quantity calculations.
• Assist with tendering, rate analysis, and subcontractor/supplier quotations.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier comparison statements.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing variations and claims.
• Assist with interim payment applications, subcontractor payments, and payment certification.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with the site, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Maintain proper records of quantities, costs, variations, and commercial documents.
• Support the Senior QS in preparing commercial reports and project cost information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of UAE construction experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Good understanding of UAE construction practices and subcontracting procedures.
• Experience in quantity take-off, BOQ, rate analysis, variations, and payments.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Experience with PlanSwift or other quantity take-off software will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and support the Senior Quantity Surveyor effectively.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in industrial and commercial projects are preferred.
