They're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to become a key part of their commercial team.

The role
 
Reporting into senior leadership, you'll be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate cost plans and estimates
• Procurement and subcontractor management
• Tender analysis and contract negotiations
• Managing variations, claims and final accounts
• Cost reporting, forecasting and cashflow management
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
• Improving systems and commercial processes
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors

This is a hands-on Senior QS position where your experience and commercial judgement will genuinely influence project outcomes.
 
About you
 
You'll already be operating at Senior QS level and enjoy taking ownership of projects.
 
You'll ideally bring:

• 7+ years' Quantity Surveying experience within commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of NZ construction contracts
• Excellent commercial acumen
• Confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• The ability to build lasting relationships across clients and project teams
