Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications accurately.

• Prepare and compile Bills of Quantities (BQ) for tendering and project execution.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates.

• Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports.

• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.

• Assist in contract administration, including variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on cost-related matters.

Requirements:

• Prefer candidates that can do measurement or taking off. (MUST)

• Must be able to use AutoCad to do measurement. (MUST)

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years or more of relevant working experience.

• Must be able to perform quantity take-offs and prepare BQ independently.

• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.

• Proficient in MS Excel.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Prefer Mandarin speaker.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in infrastructure / building projects.
• Familiarity with contract forms and tendering processes.
