About the role

Blueprint Properties Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kamunting, Perak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to budgetary requirements. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing estimates, and providing financial oversight throughout the construction lifecycle. This position is integral to our project success and directly impacts our ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase, ensuring expenditure remains within approved budgets
• Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify project progress and material quantities
• Analyse contractor submissions, quotations, and invoices for accuracy and compliance
• Manage variation orders and change requests, assessing their financial implications
• Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts for project completion
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure cost alignment with project specifications
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and cost records
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to optimise project finances
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations
