Quantity Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, cost estimation, and commercial planning.
• Own quotations, pricing strategy, project costing, and profitability analysis across Furniture and PMC projects.
• Prepare and review PMC proposals, contracts, work orders, purchase orders, and commercial documentation.
• Lead commercial evaluations of supplier quotations, contractor bids, and procurement proposals.
• Lead vendor negotiations, procurement strategy, and commercial discussions to maximize project profitability.
• Own project budgets, cost control measures, commercial performance, and profitability targets.
• Manage variation orders, commercial claims, contractual obligations, and change management processes.
• Calculate landed costs for imported luxury furniture, including freight, customs duties, insurance, and logistics costs.
• Review and approve Proforma Invoices, vendor invoices, contractor bills, and payment recommendations.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Logistics, and Project teams to ensure commercial alignment.
• Conduct site visits for quantity verification, budget monitoring, and commercial reviews when required.
• Prepare client billings, payment certifications, profitability reports, MIS reports, and budget variance reports.
• Drive value engineering, cost optimization initiatives, and commercial compliance across projects.
• Support management with commercial insights, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

• Strong expertise in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, and Contract Administration.
• Proven experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, budgeting, cost control, and profitability management.
• Good understanding of interior fit-out projects, luxury furniture, imports, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders independently.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and commercial reporting tools.
• Results-oriented professional with strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
