Quantity Surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing the overall cost of a construction project and ensure that the project is completed within its projected budget. This position coordinates with the management and other heads of the department for mutual concern. It also provides accurate and timely information, advices and support to staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Cost planning
• Responsible for cost budget, analysis, control and operation system audit and supervision
• Consistently manages daily operations through monitoring of Structural/Civil works standards and budget to achieve the target completion dates
• Implement work standards and guidelines, and recommends cost-efficient measures across all construction stages in consultation with consultants, contractors, and other concerned trades.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer
• With at least 3-5 years of valued Quantity Surveying experience
• Preferably with work experience from a real estate company
• Knowledgeable in Cost estimation, Quantity Take-off, Evaluation and Processing of billing, payables, variation/change orders, for Vertical (Midrise and High-rise) and Horizontal (Housing and Land development) projects
• Proficient in plan evaluation and interpretation
• With experience in procurement process, supplier and contractor sourcing
• With understanding and exposure on Contract Management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Willing to report in Makati City
