Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Overall responsible for accurate cost planning and budget estimates, taking-off quantities, sourcing of sub-contractors and suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission. Handle on-going projects and resolve contractual issues with clients. Prepare monthly progress claims to clients and follow up for payment certification. Submit claims for variation works. Evaluate subcontractor monthly progress claims, variation orders and finalization of project accounts. Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments and other documents. Advise managers and clients on improvements and new strategies. Document changes in design and update budgets.

About you

• At least Diploma in Building Construction or Quantity Surveying
• Above 3 years of local working experience in interior design or joinery carpentry sector
• Meticulous, initiative and able to work independently
• Able to handle Auto-CAD drawings and proficient in MS Office Excel
• Ability to work effectively in a team and delegate, but also able to work on own initiative
• Bilingual in English and Chinese in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
• Willing to work on an alternate half Saturday
