Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to manage our construction project costs and contracts. In this role, you will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high quality and legal compliance. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to drive financial efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare initial budget estimates, cost plans, and financial feasibility studies
• Produce accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and comprehensive tender packages
• Evaluate incoming subcontractor bids, negotiate terms, and award commercial contracts
• Monitor site progress, value completed work, and issue monthly valuations
• Assess and negotiate cost variations, change orders, and final accounts
• Identify potential commercial risks and implement cost-control strategies

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in commercial or residential construction
• Proficiency in MS Excel and industry cost-estimation software (e.g., Cubicost, Glodon, CostX)
• Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and deep knowledge of contract standard forms
