Quantity Surveyor

• Prepare basic project measurements and valuations, handling general quantity surveying duties such as the measurement, valuation, and agreement of work sections.
• Submit initial quantity take-offs for the preparation of construction programs, material orders, and value/cost projections.
• Prepare ‘Requests for Approval’ and detailed measurements for consultant approval.
• Prepare monthly valuations.
• Assist the Senior QS in preparing claim submission details.
• Assist the Senior QS in preparing new rates.
• Prepare subcontractors’ payment certificates.
• Prepare interim applications for payment and internal valuations.
• Administer contracts and settle subcontractors’ accounts.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in core principles.
• Professional certification such as MRICS or equivalent, demonstrating commitment to industry standards and ethics will be an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in construction or engineering projects, showcasing practical expertise.
