Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong construction background and knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) packages ?

We’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity on a major international construction project in Mons, Belgium , offering the chance to take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of key project packages.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of assigned packages
• Managing subcontractor accounts, payments and valuations
• Pricing M&E tenders, variations and contract changes
• Preparing payment applications and commercial forecasts
• Managing cost plans, budgets, turnover and cash flow
• Issuing contractual notices and supporting commercial claims
• Monitoring site progress, productivity and physical quantities
• Identifying commercial risks and protecting project margins
• Maintaining robust commercial records and audit trails
• Providing commercial advice to the wider project team
• Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline , or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years’ Quantity Surveying experience
• Strong construction contracts and commercial management knowledge
• Working knowledge of M&E packages
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts
• Strong experience with variations, valuations and payment applications
• Excellent numerical, analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills
• Data centre or mission-critical experience highly desirable
