Quantity Surveyor

About the Role
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting the bidding process to ensure cost efficiency and quality across construction projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Handle project costing for new stores, renovations, and refresh works
• Manage the bidding process and coordinate with contractors
• Evaluate contractor proposals and technical requirements
• Prepare Owner-Supplied Materials (OSM) lists for procurement
• Coordinate with designers on plans, revisions, and project requirements
• Monitor project progress and assist in consolidating punch lists
• Ensure alignment of cost, quality, and project requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• At least 1–2 years of experience in costing, estimation, or project management
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Detail-oriented with good coordination skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of construction processes and materials is an advantage
