Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at DR HOUSING ONLINE PLT' in the heart of Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Measure and value the work carried out on construction sites
• Analyse and report on project costs, identifying potential savings and efficiencies
• Provide expert advice and support to project managers and other team members
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Contribute to the overall success and growth of the business

What we're looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry
• Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost management principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and under pressure
• Proficiency in using construction-related software, such as estimating and project management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
