QUANTITY SURVEYOR

About the role

An Intermediate Quantity Surveyor cum Purchasing Executive role overseeing cost management, sourcing, and international procurement for commercial and retail interior renovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), standard material take-offs, and detailed cost estimates for retail interior fit-out works
• Source vendor and contractor quotations, analyze cost breakdowns, and prepare comparative summary reports
• Deal directly with China factories and suppliers to negotiate, source, and purchase loose furniture, custom joinery, and fit-out materials
• Oversee order placement, quality check verification, sea freight arrangements, customs handling, and local site delivery schedules

About you

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a QS or Procurement Executive specializing in Interior Design / Retail Renovation
• Mandarin fluency (Spoken & Written) required for technical communication, negotiation, and daily coordination with China-based suppliers
• Experience with cross-border procurement, shipping logistics, and direct factory sourcing in China
• Understanding of interior materials, fabrication details, and local sub-contractor rates
