Quantity Surveyor

• Handle subcontractor procurement and administration, including tendering, quotation evaluation, payment assessment, VO and final account.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.
• Monitor and update project cost control, including budget, commitment, actual cost, forecast and variance.
• Manage commercial matters, including quantity take-off, quotation, cost comparison and cost assessment.
• Review and verify subcontractor quantities, claims and supporting documents and prepare payment responses/certificates.
• Access payment and variation works to client and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
• Communicate with the client, management, sub-contractors and keeps track of the progression of both main contract and sub-contract.
• Coordinate with Construction, Design, Finance Team and subcontractors/suppliers to obtain required information and resolve commercial matters.
• Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.
• Take ownership of assigned work packages and ensure accurate and timely completion.
• Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC policies, processes, systems and procedures.
• Any other adhoc tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey ,Construction Management or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Fresh graduates are welcome too.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of measurement, cost control and subcontract administration.
• Experience in MRT, or similar scale, complexity and nature of work will be advantages.
• Experience in LTA/infrastructure projects preferred.
