Quantity Surveyor

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Kar Seng Construction Pte Ltd as a Quantity Surveyor. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for providing cost management and quantity surveying expertise to deliver complex construction projects within budget and to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing cost estimates and quantity take off for tender.
2. Negotiating and reviewing subcontractor quotations and contracts
3. Monitoring project costs and budgets, and providing regular reporting
4. Prepare and submit monthly progress claim and variation order to client.
5. Identify variation works and compile supporting documents.
6. Prepare payment certificate and verify claims submit by subcontractor.
7. Assist in preparing final accounts upon project completion.

What we're looking for

1. Min Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
2. At least 4 years of relevant working experience in Civil Engineering.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimating techniques
4. Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office suite
5. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
