Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Skyhill Engineering and Transportation Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Tsuen Wan District. We are long established and fast-growing construction company specialized in earthworks and road & drain works. We are inviting high caliber personnel to fill the following position:

Key responsibilities

• Prepare budget estimations, elemental cost plans, pre-tender estimates, cost control, value engineering, and related tender analysis and documents;
• Responsible for interim payment and final account of the project;
• Co-ordination with different trades of contractor and supplier;
• Prepare monthly interim payment application, claims and settlement of the final account

Job Requirements & Person Specification

• Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or related discipline;
• Minimum of 2 years of QS relevant working experience in the related industry;
• Good technical knowledge – measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts and law;
• Familiar with NEC be prioritized;
• Understand and familiar with professional practice and contract administration processes;
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, team spirit;
• Ability to communicate proficient in speaking English and Chinese as well as writing;
• On-site measurement.
