Tasks & responsibilities

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects
2. Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
3. Monitoring project costs and identifying potential savings opportunities
4. Providing expert advice and support to project managers and other team members
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies
6. Collaborating with the design and engineering teams to optimise project costs
7. Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications & experience

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
3. Proficiency in construction cost estimation, contract management, and project cost control
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
6. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
7. Proficient in using construction-related software and tools
