Quantity Surveyor

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To evaluate progress claims submitted by Subcontractors and to prepare their payment certificates.

2. To prepares work progress claims to the Client / Consultants and reconcile with approved progress payment certificates from the Client/Consultants.

3. To review construction drawings and take off work quantities / work measurement.

4. To prepare program of works, Physical and Financial S-Curve, monthly progress report, etc.

5. To compile Variation Claims supporting evidence documents.

6. To coordinate and liaise with Client, Consultant, Subcontractors and local authorities if any.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / related field.

2. Minimum of 1 year(s) to 3 year(s) working experience in construction industry.

3. Familiar with measurement, cost estimation, BOQ, tendering, and contract administration.

4. Knowledge of standard forms of contract (PAM, JKR, CIDB) is an added advantage.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic QS software.

6. Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

7. Registered with Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia is an added advantage.

8. Proficient in speaking and writing Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia professionally.
