Quantity Surveyor

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, mechanical, Electrical), and other related courses
• Preferably with 3+ years experience in MEPF, architectural and other engineering works
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation
• Proficient in various software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD etc.)
• Self- starter, detail oriented, highly organized and pro-active
• Excellent communication (both verbal & written) & interpersonal skills
• Responsible, trustworthy and a team player

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prepare quantity take-offs based on plans, drawings and specifications
• Assist in preparation of cost estimates and budgets
• Support in bid preparation and tender documentation
• Monitor project costs and track variations/ changes during construction
• Prepare progress billings and assist in evaluating contractor claims
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and suppliers for cost-related data
• Review plans and identify discrepancies affecting quantities and cost
• Maintain records of estimates, quantities and project cost reports
• Assist in procurement by evaluating quotations and cost comparisons
• Support project team in ensuring cost efficiency and budget control
