Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with 3–4 years of experience in construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, site measurements, rate analysis, billing, quantity reconciliation and cost control.

The candidate should have good practical knowledge of building construction and be comfortable coordinating with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Subcontractors, Procurement and Accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
• Prepare and verify BOQs for civil and finishing works.
• Check BOQ quantities against drawings and actual site execution.
• Conduct and verify site measurements of completed works.
• Maintain Measurement Sheets / Measurement Books.
• Verify subcontractor and contractor quantities.
• Prepare and verify RA Bills / Running Account Bills.
• Check subcontractor bills against actual measurements and BOQ.
• Prepare client billing documents and supporting quantity statements.
• Track submitted, certified, approved and pending bills.
• Assist with final bills and final accounts.
• Prepare rate analysis for BOQ, extra and non-BOQ items.
• Analyse material, labour and equipment costs.
• Assist in project estimation and tender preparation.
• Compare vendor and subcontractor quotations when required.
• Reconcile BOQ quantity vs. executed quantity vs. billed quantity.
• Monitor material and quantity consumption.
• Identify variations, wastage and cost deviations.
• Prepare variation, deviation and extra-item statements.
• Support project cost-control activities.
• Maintain records of BOQs, measurements, bills, variations and approvals.
• Prepare monthly quantity, billing and reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning, Procurement, Stores and Accounts.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants regarding measurements and billing.
• Highlight quantity, billing and commercial issues to management.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimation or Billing.
• Experience in residential, commercial or building construction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ and quantity take-off.
• Hands-on experience in RA Billing and subcontractor billing.
• Good knowledge of rate analysis and quantity reconciliation.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Willingness to conduct regular site visits and independently verify measurements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
