Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, procurement, quotations, tender preparation, and cost control. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all quantity surveying and cost management duties throughout the project lifecycle.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate prices and conduct price comparisons to ensure competitive and cost-effective procurement.
• Prepare project estimates, quotations, budgets, and cost projections.
• Monitor project costs and track variations against approved contracts and budgets.
• Assist in tender preparation, submission, and participation.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders and update procurement and delivery status in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper records and documentation relating to quotations, procurement, project costs, and variations.
• Work closely with project and design teams to ensure effective cost management and procurement.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Renovation, Construction, or a related industry.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and cost-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Able to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines.
