Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Assist in quantity take-off, cost estimation, tender pricing and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documents; prepare tender queries and BQs.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Assist in variation order, claims and contract administration.
• Measure and value completed works and verify subcontractors’ progress claims/payments.
• Conduct site measurements and attend site, technical and project meetings.
• Monitor project variations, materials and costs.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on project and commercial matters.
• Prepare quotations, cost reports and other QS documentation.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• ITE, Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction or related disciplines.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Relevant internship or project experience will be an advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office , AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
• Familiarity with construction materials, sourcing and procurement processes.
• Understanding of building construction practices, Singapore contract law and relevant regulations will be an added advantage.
