Quantity Surveyor

About the role

A Quantity Surveyor role at IMETAL (M) SDN BHD, a premier roofing company in Sarawak specializing in manufacturing metal roofing, cold form and hot rolled welded trusses, ceiling, dome and façade, as well as design, supply and install for these products and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender submission
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), quotations and cost analysis
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and coordinate with Project team

About you

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
• Good analytical, communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; QS software is an advantage
