Quantity Surveyor - Fast Track Fit Out

£60,000 - £80,000 + package

Our client is a well-established fit out and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, hospitality and retail sectors.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The role will suit a commercially driven QS with strong experience working on fast-track fit out and refurbishment projects, who is comfortable working to tight programmes and managing multiple commercial aspects of a project from start to finish.

The Role

• Managing the commercial aspects of fit out and refurbishment projects
• Cost control, forecasting and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Preparation and management of valuations, variations and final accounts
• Subcontractor procurement and management
• Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor accounts
• Managing commercial risk and maximising project profitability
• Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and clients
• Supporting procurement and tendering activities
• Maintaining accurate CVRs and commercial reports
• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and programme

About You

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
• Strong fast-track fit out / refurbishment experience is essential
• Experience working on commercial, retail, hospitality or similar projects
• Confident managing subcontractors, variations, valuations and final accounts
• Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Relevant construction/commercial qualification preferred
