About the role

ALLNAMICS (M) SDN BHD' is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing contracts and ensuring the financial success of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
2. Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
3. Monitoring project costs and cash flow to ensure projects are delivered on budget
4. Providing regular cost reports and updates to project managers and stakeholders
5. Identifying opportunities to optimise costs and improve project efficiency
6. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful construction projects

What we're looking for

1. Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
2. At least 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
3. Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project control processes
4. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and IT systems
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
