Position: Quantity Surveyor / Cost Controller

Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment: Part-time / Project-based / Regular site visits

Role Overview

The QS/Cost Controller will manage the financial control of the 8-villa fit-out project, ensuring costs, variations, contractor valuations and procurement remain within the approved project budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the project BOQ.
• Review contractor quotations and tenders.
• Analyse subcontractor quotations.
• Monitor project budget and committed costs.
• Review monthly payment applications.
• Verify completed works before payment.
• Evaluate variations and additional works.
• Maintain a variation register.
• Prepare cost reports.
• Monitor procurement costs.
• Identify potential cost overruns.
• Compare actual costs against budget.
• Assist with contract administration.
• Review the final account.

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in construction/fit-out.
• Strong experience with luxury residential projects preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of BOQs, valuations and variations.
• Strong Excel and cost-control skills.
• Dubai/UAE construction experience preferred.

Pay: AED2,542.95 - AED10,000.00 per month
