Job Description

Sky Crest Building Contracting LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, quantities, contracts, and commercial documentation for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine quantities and costs.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and expenditures.
• Prepare and evaluate quotations, subcontractor payments, and material costs.
• Assist with tender preparation, cost comparisons, and commercial evaluations.
• Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Monitor variations, claims, and additional works.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs and commercial documentation.
• Conduct regular cost analysis and provide reports to management.
• Ensure all quantity and cost calculations are accurate and properly documented.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, quantities, costing, and contracts.
• Experience with BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of quantity surveying software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Good English communication and documentation skills.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
