We are currently working with a thriving and expanding Tier 1 main contractor who are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor for projects in Zone 1 London.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

This is an opportunity to join a successful main contractor who have a strong pipeline of work, proven internal career progression, whilst working on major schemes across London including cut & Carve commercial office space.

As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing packages from tender to final accounting. You will be initially based from central London office and then on site managing the full up and downstream process with support from the commercial lead.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:

The company are looking for a candidate who is dynamic and enthusiastic with strong negotiation and communication skills. You will be an organised forward thinker, with high attention to detail.

With experience as an Assistant or Graduate Surveyor, you will come from a Main contractor background, and be competent in managing a range of packages, subcontractors and enquiries.

• Degree in a construction related subject
• Ability to manage relationships
• Willingness to learn new skills as required and support implementation of processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

With projects up to £200m the business is growing through their excellent reputation with repeat clients and subcontractor management.
