About the role
A Quantity Surveyor role involving taking up quantities and tender exercises, reviewing tender prices and procedures, and managing quotations for supplies and sub-contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Taking up Quantities and Tender Exercise, eg. GeBIZ
- Review past Tender Price and New Tender Procedure
- Calling for Quotation to recommend supplies/sub-contractors by management
- Visiting/meeting at site time to time with Client, Consultant, Sub-con & others relevant parties
- Working out Quantities for Variations and Progress Claims for client
- Preparing and Verifying monthly/bi-monthly Progress Payments for Sub-con & Suppliers
- Preparing Final Accounts for project including variation orders and extension of time
- Assisting and following-up on Collection (progress claim)
- Preparing Budget for site management & others relevant Q.S. duties
- Monitoring Work Schedule and Detailed Work Programmes according to the plan
