Quantity Surveyor

Job responsibilities

• Carry out project/contracts administration matters in a timely manner, including monthly progress claims, variation claims, extension of time notifications/claims to clients
• Perform taking off quantities and prepare costing and budget for projects
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
• Assist on procurement matters such as subcontractors and vendors quotations
• Value and verify completed work such as progress claims from subcontractors and vendors based on actual works completed
• Handle variation claims from vendors
• Follow up with clients on certification and payment of work done based on the prevailing SOP Act
• Assist to finalize project accounts with clients and vendors

Job requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or related disciplines
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
• Good communication skills
• Able to meet tight scheduled duties assigned
• Meticulous and has positive work attitude
• Responsible, able to work under pressure and good team player
• Able to start work on short notice will have an advantage
