Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead quantity take-offs and cost estimation for civil, structural, and architectural works during pre-bid and post-award stages
• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities), rate analysis, and cost build-ups using DSR/SOR, market intelligence, and vendor quotations
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to validate quantities, construction methodologies, and identify value engineering opportunities
• Support bid preparation, submission, technical clarifications, and commercial negotiations with clients
• Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure complete scope coverage
• Maintain and update cost databases, benchmarks, and historical data from previous projects for future reference
• Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and provide inputs for project planning and budgeting
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical inputs

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in quantity surveying, estimation, and EPC project costing
• In-depth knowledge of DSR, SOR, CPWD norms, and market rate analysis
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), AutoCAD, and estimation software
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial acumen
• Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
• Experience in large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred
