Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit

progress claims, variation orders (VOs) and final accounts

for electrical/M&E works.

Evaluate and follow up on

claims, variations and additional works

with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements from

electrical drawings, SLDs and specifications

.

Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, progress claims and variation claims.

Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance of electrical works.

Maintain proper supporting documents and records for

claims, VOs and contractual matters

.

Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and consultants to resolve commercial and contractual issues.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in

Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building/Construction

or related discipline.

Minimum

3 years of relevant M&E Quantity Surveying experience

.

Strong experience in

Electrical M&E works

is preferred.

Good hands-on experience in

progress claims, variation orders (VOs), cost evaluation and final accounts

.

Able to read and understand

electrical drawings, SLDs and technical specifications

.

Familiar with Singapore construction contracts and commercial practices.

Good negotiation, communication and documentation skills.
