Quantity Surveyor

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, budgets, and quotations for interior fit-out and renovation projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, tender documents, and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections for new projects to assess existing site conditions, verify measurements, understand the scope of work, and identify requirements before preparing quotations and cost estimates.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for civil, MEP, joinery, flooring, ceiling, painting, and other fit-out works.
• Prepare and submit tender documents, commercial proposals, and cost breakdowns.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate rates with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve competitive project costs.
• Prepare interim payment applications, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, committed costs, and actual expenses against approved budgets.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Verify subcontractor invoices, progress payments, and quantities completed at site.
• Maintain updated project cost reports and commercial documentation.
• Identify variations, additional works, and cost implications during project execution.
• Assist management in commercial negotiations and project cost control.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and project progress.
• Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE interior fit-out industry.
• Strong experience in interior fit-out, renovation, civil, MEP, and joinery costing.
• Excellent knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, estimation, and rate analysis.
• Good understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction/fit-out methods.
• Experience in preparing quotations, variations, interim payments, and final accounts.
• Strong knowledge of UAE market rates, suppliers, subcontractors, and construction materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity take-off/estimation software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice will be given preference.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
