Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and support the preparation of cost estimates, project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.

• Assist with tendering activities, including sourcing quotations, conducting price comparisons, preparing tender documentation, and supporting proposal submissions.

• Assist in the review and administration of contract terms, variations, claims, and other commercial matters under the guidance of senior QS staff.

• Monitor project costs and expenditure and assist in analysing cost trends and preparing regular cost reports.

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to support effective project and commercial coordination.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date commercial records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures, contractual requirements, and relevant regulations.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant local industry experience.

• Experience in a consultancy, data centre, or cleanroom environment will be an added advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
