Quantity Surveyor

1. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents based on drawings, specifications, and site measurements.
2. Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions for interior fit-out and renovation projects.
3. Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and construction drawings.
4. Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
5. Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and assist with procurement activities.
6. Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VOs), and final accounts.
7. Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
8. Coordinate closely with designers, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
10. Attend site visits, site measurements, and project meetings as required.
11. Maintain accurate project cost records, documentation, and filing systems.
12. Support material procurement and subcontractor coordination to ensure timely project execution.
13. Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in Singapore, with proven experience working in Singapore interior design, renovation, or fit-out firms.
3. Mandatory experience in Singapore interior design / renovation projects. Candidates without relevant Singapore interior design or renovation industry experience will not be considered.
4. Experience in commercial, residential, F&B, office, or other interior fit-out projects.
5. Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, tender preparation, BOQ, procurement, and cost control.
6. Familiar with preparing and managing quotations, Purchase Orders (POs), variation orders (VOs), progress claims, and final accounts.
7. Experience in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
8. Able to read and interpret architectural, interior design, and construction drawings and specifications.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying / measurement software such as CostX, Glodon, Cubit, Bluebeam, or equivalent. Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
10. Good understanding of construction materials, pricing, and interior fit-out methods.
11. Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
12. Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
13. Willing to attend site visits, site measurements, and project meetings when required.
14. Strong attention to detail with good numerical and analytical skills.
15. Must be currently based in Singapore and have valid working eligibility in Singapore.
