Quantity Surveyor – Immediate Joining

Al Moftah Al Dhabi Building Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) / Estimation / Procurement / Tendering Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, tendering, contract documentation, procurement, and commercial management within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate quantities, material costs, labour costs, and project timelines.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and rate analyses.
• Review architectural, structural, and civil drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify discrepancies and prepare RFIs or technical clarifications.
• Prepare tender documents, contract documents, quotations, cost summaries, and commercial comparisons.
• Manage procurement activities, including RFQs, supplier and subcontractor quotations, evaluations, and comparison sheets.
• Identify, assess, and manage commercial and contractual risks.
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor their work and performance.
• Monitor project costs, variations, additional works, budgets, and subcontractor payment applications.
• Evaluate completed works, verify quantities, manage payments, and ensure accurate valuations.
• Draft and review subcontract agreements, contractual correspondence, and commercial documentation.
• Prepare regular cost reports, budget updates, and financial progress reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, building regulations, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of BOQs, quotations, contracts, payments, variations, drawings, and project correspondence.
• Identify cost-effective construction solutions and ensure value for money.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE construction industry experience is a MUST.
• Proven experience in preparing tender documents, contract documents, BOQs, cost estimates, and commercial documentation.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, estimation, procurement, subcontractor management, variations, and payment valuations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
• Experience with PlanSwift or similar quantity take-off software is an advantage.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.
• Immediate joining is mandatory.
