What they need
Education - Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
Experience - 3+ years experience with building contracting companies preferable in GCC countries.
Facilitates the overall QS service from pre-contract to post contract work such as:
- Cost Planning/Cost Estimates
- Cost Control/Value Engineering
- Pre-Qualification of bidders
- Tendering (Preparation of BoQ and Pre-Tender Estimates to Awarding of Tender
- Preparation of contracts, letter of nomination, and letter of award
- Analysis of variation claims
- Coordinates with site construction engineers to maintain complete and up-to-date records of transport, construction plant, materials and manpower used on variations to be carried out on day work basis.
- Prepares contract close out and final accounts, includes carrying out final re- measurement of quantities (as applicable) using physical measurements or on the basis of “as built” drawings.
- Subcontractor payment and variation preparation.
- Delivery of financial statements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
